Welcome to my website!
My name is Sebastian Link and I am a Senior Economist (PostDoc) at the ifo Institute in Munich, member of the Junior Faculty of LMU Munich, and Affiliate of the CESifo and IZA Research Networks.
Here is my CV.
My research covers various topics in Macroeconomics, Public Economics, and Labor Economics. In particular, I work on macro issues using micro data, the expectation formation of firms, and the adjustment of firms to shocks and policy interventions such as minimum wages and the COVID-19 pandemic.

I'm co-organizing the 14th ifo Conference on Macroeconomics and Survey Data on December 5-6, 2024. Keynotes will be delivered by Olivier Coibion (University of Texas) and Evi Pappa (Universidad Carlos III). Submission Deadline: July 15, 2024.
My paper "Downward Revision of Investment Decisions after Corporate Tax Hikes" (joint with Manuel Menkhoff, Andreas Peichl, and Paul Schüle) is now forthcoming in American Economic Journal: Economic Policy.
My paper "Demand or Supply? Price Adjustment Heterogeneity during the Covid-19 Pandemic" (joint with Almut Balleer, Manuel Menkhoff, and Peter Zorn) has been published in the International Journal of Central Banking.
